Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ASA Physical status 1 to 3 patients undergoing thoraco lumbar surgeries under general anaesthesia procedure duration greater than 90 mins

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: history of motion sickness and previous history of post operative nausea and vomiting. use of antiemetic drugs within 24 hrs before surgery. known hypersensitivity to study agents. pregnancy and lactating mothers.

MeasureTime frame
The aim is to identify the inhalational anaesthetic with the lowest incidence of PONV in patients undergoing thoraco lumbar spine surgeries thereby improving postoperative care and patient satisfaction.Timepoint: At 2 hours,6 hours,24 hours.—
