Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Healthy denture wearers aged between 45 and 65 years were included in the study. Participants who had been using complete dentures for more than two weeks were selected to ensure adequate adaptation to the prosthesis. Only denture wearers without any signs of oral infection, inflammation, or mucosal lesions were considered eligible for inclusion in the study. This selection helped ensure that the participants had a stable oral condition and allowed for accurate evaluation without interference from existing oral pathologies.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Participants using ill-fitting dentures were excluded from the study. Patients who had used antibiotics within the past two weeks were also excluded to avoid any influence on microbial levels. In addition, participants with oral infections or any active oral lesions were not included in the study. Individuals who were using denture adhesives were also excluded to prevent any interference with the evaluation of the cleansing agents.
