Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Subjects of irrespective gender belonging to the age group 30-60 years Subjects presenting with clinical features of Madhumeha, also including Freshly detected /Recent origin and HbA1C less than 9.5% Subjects presenting with clinical features of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus. Subjects fit for Virechana Karma.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Subjects presenting with history of Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus. Gestational Diabetes and lactating mothers. Subjects having chronic complications of Diabetes Mellitus. Subjects unfit for Virechana Karma. Any other systemic illness that interferes with the course of intervention.

| The primary outcome of this study is to assess the reduction in fasting blood sugar (FBS) and postprandial blood sugar (PPBS) levels in patients of Madhumeha (Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus) following Virechana therapy with Palashapushpa Kashaya and Jashada Bhasma, and with asanadi Kashaya and Nishamalaki Vati. Reduction in classical symptoms such as polyuria, polydipsia, fatigue, and excessive hunger will be observed.
