Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Presence of at least one active myofascial trigger point in the quadriceps muscle group (VMO or VL)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: History of knee surgery or fracture in the past 6 months Patellar instability, ligament injury, or meniscal pathology Neurological disorders affecting lower-limb function Systemic inflammatory or rheumatologic conditions Contraindications to dry needling (e.g., bleeding disorders, needle phobia) Pregnancy Current participation in another interventional study
