Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Married patients in the age group of 18-40 years. 2. Diagnosed cases as per Rotterdam criteria (2018)-ASRM (American Society for Reproductive Medicine) criteria for PCOS. 3. Patients fall under the categories of Overweight (BMI- 25.0 -29.9 kg/m2) and Class 1 Obesity (BMI- 30.0 34.9 kg/m2). 4. Patients willing to give written informed consent by themselves. 5. Patients eligible for Uttarabasti Karma.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients of Age Less Than 18 years and Greater Than 40 years. 2. Lactating mothers. 3. Patients with history of uncontrolled hypertension (Systolic BP Greater than 160 mmhg & Diastolic BP Greater than 100mmhg), uncontrolled Diabetes Mellitus (FBS Greater than 160 mg/dl). 4. Patients having Hypothyroidism. 5. Organic lesions of reproductive tract like Tuberculosis, Carcinoma, congenital deformities and Sexually Transmitted Diseases, Fibroid Uterus. 6. Endocrinopathies like Androgen Secreting Tumors, Cushing Syndrome, Hyperprolactinemia. 7. Unmarried patient. 8. Patients who are taking hormonal or GnRH treatments. 9. Systematic Disorders like Severe cardiac, pulmonary, hepatic, renal diseases or central nervous system disorders. 10. Patients who are Known case of Premature ovarian failure. 11. Patients not willing to participate in study.
