Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Healthy children aged 5-8 yrs with Frankel Behavioural Rating positive or definitely positive. 2.Primary teeth/molars with occlusal caries involving dentin 3.Carious lesion classified as ICDAS CODE 4 or more 4. No mobility, no tenderness on percussion and no sinus or fistula. 5.No internal or external resorption on radiographic evaluation 6.Children free of any systemic disease or any developmental disturbances.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Teeth with pulpal or periapical pathologies. 2.Accidental pulp exposure while caries excavation. 3. Patient with systemic complications or dental developmental anomalies. 4.Carious lesions with sclerotic dentin
