Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: age more than or equal to 18 years

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Do not reintubate orders at extubation. 2. Facial anomalies or facial trauma. 3.Traumatic brain injury patients. 4.Accidental extubation 5.History of long-term treatment with noninvasive ventilation or continuous positive airway pressure at home 6. History of chronic neuromuscular disease (myopathy or myasthenia gravis) 7.Patient refusal to take part in the study 8.Pregnancy
