Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1 Children of age group 5 to15 years and of both sexes and of all religious backgrounds with symptoms of vataj pratishayaya will be selected 2 Only patients whose parents consent to their child participation and are willing to sign the informed consent form will be eligible for the study 3 Elevated total serum IgE concentration will be selected The laboratory findings of increased numbers of eosinophils in the nasal mucosal smear 4 Mild to moderate inferior turbinate Hypertrophy
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1 Subjects outside the defined inclusion criteria will not be enrolled 2 Children with a history of chronic allergic rhinitis persisting for over one year will be excluded 3 Children presenting with allergic rhinitis associated with high grade fever will be excluded 4 Patients with nasal structural problems such as nasal polyp and adenoid hypertrophy or tonsillar hypertrophy 5 Patient suffering from acute or chronic respiratory infections such as tuberculosis or pneumonia and especially lower respiratory tract infection and malnourished child also excluded
