Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Male or female basketball players aged 18 30 years. Players with Mechanical neck pain with associated cervical muscle spasm. Pain duration of at least 2 6 weeks. Reduced cervical range of motion or tenderness in cervical muscles on clinical examination. Participants willing to sign informed consent and participate in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. History of cervical spine fracture, dislocation, or surgery. 2. Signs of cervical radiculopathy or neurological deficit. 3. Presence of serious spinal pathology such as Cervical spondylosis, tumor, infection, or inflammatory disease. 4. History of vertebrobasilar insufficiency or contraindication to cervical manipulation. 5. Current participation in other physiotherapy or chiropractic treatment for neck pain. 6. Recent traumatic neck injury (e.g., whiplash).
