Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients aged between 35 to 65 years of age, irrespective of gender. 1. Radiological grading: Kellgren-Lawrence Grade I or II 2. VAS pain score between 3 and 6 3. Duration of symptoms: greater than 3 months and lesser than 3 years 4. Willing to undergo Panchakarma and sign the informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Secondary OA due to trauma, RA, gout, etc. 2. OA Grade III and IV 3. Previous surgery or intra-articular injection in affected knee 4. Uncontrolled systemic illness DM, HTN, TB, cardiac, renal, HbA1C greater than 9 percent 5. Patients on long-term steroids or immunosuppressants 6. Pregnancy, lactation 7. Local infection or skin lesions 8. patients with HIV, HbSAg
