Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) SBP greater than or equal to 120 to 139 mmHg and DBP greater than or equal to 80 to 89 mmHg 2) SBP greater than or equal to 140 to 159mmHg and DBP greater than or equal 90 to 99 mmHg

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Patients who are on treatment with Anti-hypertensive medications 2) Physical examination or history or routine investigations produce suspicion of a secondary cause of hypertension 3) Patients with essential hypertension along with serious systemic or pathological complications
