Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adults aged 30 65 years, Diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus, on stable anti-diabetic treatment for at least 3 months, Patients willing to provide blood samples for HbA1c and Lipid profile analysis and a written informed consent were included in the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus, Gestational diabetes, Pregnant or lactating women, Severe acute illness, Shift workers with highly irregular meal timings and individuals not willing to participate or provide the informed consent were excluded from the study

MeasureTime frame
To evaluate the change in the HbA1c and the post prandial glucose level from baseline to 3 monthsTimepoint: 3 months

MeasureTime frame
-Change in fasting plasma glucose -Change in lipid profile (Total Cholesterol, LDL-C, HDL-C, Triglycerides) -Changes in body weight, BMI, body fat percentage and anthropometric parameters -Assessment of adherence and tolerability of early dinner intervention Timepoint: 3 months
