Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients of ASA Physical status I & II 2. Age 18 to 65 years of either gender 3. Posted for craniotomy requiring the skull pin application

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Known hypersensitivity to study drug. CSF Rhinorrhea. Patient with heart block. Patient receiving any kind of pre procedural analgesics in last 24 hours. Drug altering hemodynamic responses. Surgery in any position other than supine. Morbid obesity
