Intervention1: 0.2% chitosan nano particles using endoactivator: Irrigation for three minutes using 5ml of 0.2% chitosan nanoparticles and an EndoActivator handpiece (Dentsply) with a size 25/0.04 tap

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Children in good general health between the ages of three to nine. Written informed consent from guardians or parents. Primary molars have at least one canal with necrotic pulp or an abscess or sinus tract. Radiolucency in the periapical or furcation area. At least two-thirds of the root structure remains intact. Sufficient tooth structure is preserved to enable proper restoration, effective isolation and upkeep of an aseptic working field to decrease bacterial contamination.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients who had taken antibiotics within two weeks of the sample being obtained. Patients presenting with a known history of systemic disease. Primary teeth presenting with obliterated root canals. Teeth with pathological root resorption, extreme mobility, or pulpal floor perforation that are considered non-restorable. Primary teeth with exfoliation time less than 12 months.
