Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Cricket players aged 18 to 30 years. Minimum 2 years of active cricket participation at school, college or club level. Physically healthy and free from musculoskeletal, neurological and cardiovascular disorders affecting performance. Participants willing to provide written informed consent. Regular involvement in cricket practice at least 3 times per week.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: History of acute musculoskeletal injury within past 6 months. Presence of chronic neurological, cardiovascular or musculoskeletal disorders affecting performance. Uncontrolled visual or auditory impairment affecting reaction time or hand eye coordination. Current use of medication affecting neuromuscular performance or reaction time. Participants unwilling to provide consent. Irregular cricket training participation or prolonged inactivity.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
1. Agility measured using a T-test score in seconds during task performance with a tennis ball and leather ball. 2. Visual Reaction Time measured using a ruler drop test or reaction timer in milliseconds during task performance with a tennis ball and leather ball. 3. Hand-eye coordination measured using a ball-catching test as the number of successful catches during task performance with a tennis ball and leather ball. Timepoint: Baseline.
