Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients presented with single-rooted teeth diagnosed with symptomatic irreversible pulpitis

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Teeth were excluded if they presented with a sinus tract, acute apical abscess, periapical radiolucency, necrotic pulp, open apex, root resorption, or severe pain on percussion, suggesting acute apical periodontitis. Pregnant women, patients with systemic disease, those on premedication, and patients with hypersensitivity to analgesics were also excluded.
