Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients above 18 years and below 60 years of age. As per clinical signs and symptoms of Vicharchika described in classical Ayurvedic Text and known case of Atopic Eczema (based on Hanifin and Rajka,s criteria for Atopic eczema). Patients will be selected irrespective of sex, religion and profession.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients below 18 years and above 60 years of age. Systemic diseases such as diabetes mellitus, cancer, AIDS, ischemic heart disease (IHD), tuberculosis as well as renal and hepatic disorders are associated with severe complications that may progress to life-threatening or fatal outcomes in patients. Primary

MeasureTime frame
Primary Outcome - The primary outcome of this study is to assess the efficacy of the intervention in reducing symptoms of Vicharchika (Atopic Eczema). Timepoint: 04 weeks

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Secondary outcomes include improvements in quality of life measured using validated questionnaires such as the Dermatology Life Quality Index (DLQI) and focus in cost effectiveness of Vanga Bhasma prepared by Moolini Dravya compared to Vanga Bhasma prepared by Ariloha. Timepoint: 04 weeks
