Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Current ICD-11 diagnosis of anxiety disorders (generalized anxiety disorder, social anxiety disorder, and panic disorder); those with subclinical depression and other neurotic conditions, along with the anxiety disorders, shall be included. 2. Stable on medication (no changes to medication during the study or in the preceding 1 month) or off medication. 3. Aged 18 - 50 years. 4. Minimum 10th standard education.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Participants with a history of physical illness of such a severity that it can worsen anxiety symptoms or itself can result in anxiety disorder, including epilepsy, or other neurological deficits. 2. Participants with a history of intellectual disability, primary psychosis, mood disorder, or personality disorder, including schizophrenia spectrum disorders, major depressive disorder, or bipolar disorder. 3. Participants planning to move out of the study area during the follow-up period. 4. Participants who do not speak either English or Hindi. 5. Those were already taking structured psychotherapy (Exposure to more than three sessions of structured psychotherapy in the preceding 3 months) 6. Participants at imminent risk for suicide.

The integrative psychological intervention will not be inferior to TAU in reducing anxiety symptoms.Timepoint: At Baseline MID(6-7 weeks) POST (12 weeks) 1-month follow-up (16 weeks)
