Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients of either sex, aged above 18 years, who were planned for laproscopic appendicectomy surgery 2.Patients who are willing to give a written informed consent 3.Met at least 4 out of 5 Saint Antoine criteria 4. ASA classification less than (American Society of Anesthesiologists) 5.Did not live alone and resided within 30 minutes from the hospital 6.Had adequate cognitive capacity and gave informed consent
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: The exclusion criteria were pregnant women, breastfeeding, under 18 years of age Patient not willing to consent for the study. Complicated appendicitis (e.g., perforation, abscess, generalized peritonitis) inadequate cognitive function or inability to consent Conversion to open procedure
