Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Participants must be young adults aged between 18 and 25 years. Individual with Problematic Screen Use Participants must understand either Hindi or English. All participants must provide informed consent for participation in the study and cooperation for the intervention. Minimum education level: 12th standard. All genders
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Participants with additional psychiatric conditions that could confound the results will be excluded. Individuals with known neurological disorders (e.g., epilepsy or neurodegenerative diseases) will be excluded. Individuals exhibiting significant cognitive impairments that would hinder participation in assessments. Participants who do not consent to participate or withdraw during the study will be excluded from further analysis.

| The secondary outcomes of the study will include changes in emotional dysregulation, reinforcement sensitivity related to gaming behavior, & average time spent gaming. Emotional dysregulation will be measured using the Difficulties in Emotion Regulation Scale (DERS), & reinforcement sensitivity will be assessed using the Behavioral Inhibition System & Behavioral Activation System Scale. Additionally, self-reported gaming hours & participant satisfaction with the intervention will be recorded to determine the feasibility & acceptability of the single-session values clarification intervention.Timepoint: baseline & after 1 week | — |
