Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Scheduled for elective surgery, under general anaesthesia. 2. Patients belonging to American Society of Anaesthesiologist (ASA) physical status grade I and II. 3. Patients willing to give written informed consent. 4. Patients of either sex. 5. Age Groups 18 to 60 years. 6. Weighing 40 to 70 kg.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients having history of allergy to anaesthestic agents used in study. 2. Patients with pulmonary hypertension, sinus bradycardia, heart failure and cardiogenic shock. 3. Patients with anticipated difficult intubation i.e Mallampati class 3 or more, restricted neck movement or restricted mouth opening. 4. Pregnant patients and lactating mothers. 5. Patients having history of convulsion. 6. Patients having BMI more than 35 (Morbid Obesity). 7. Hepatic or Renal Dysfunction. 8. History of drug abuse.
