Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Children aged between 4-7 years 2.Children presenting with at least one primary molar tooth with ICDAS II score 5 3.Children exhibiting positive behavior and willing to participate in the study 4.Children with no known allergy to silver or other heavy metal ions

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Presence of gingival or peri-oral ulcers and clinical signs or symptoms indicating pulpal involvement 2. Children with systemic health conditions, congenital anomalies, and children with special health care needs.

Comparison of tooth discoloration (color change) following application of SDF + KI and diode laser pre-treatment before SDF application, assessed using CIELAB color parameters.Timepoint: baseline, after 1 week, and after 2 weeks.
