Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age group between 18-25 years. 2. Subjects will be selected irrespective of caste, religion,education and socio-economic status. 3. Subjects with low back pain for less than three months. 4. Subjects with history of prolonged sitting. 5. Subjects with VAS score upto 6 6. Subjects with Modified Oswestry disability score 40% or less

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Subjects with severe low back pain due to anatomical or systemic pathology or due to trauma. 2. Subjects with surgical history or advised surgical intervention. 3. Subjects with known case of systemic illness or musculoskeletal deformity. 4. Subject with alcohol consumption and or smoking.

To evaluate the effect of Bhujangasana and Ushtrasana in reducing Katishool (low back pain) due to prolonged sitting among college students by visual analogue scale.Timepoint: 45 days

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1. To evaluate the effect of Bhujangasana and Ushtrasana in reducing disability caused by low back pain by Modified Oswestry Low Back Disability Questionnaire. Timepoint: 45 days
