Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Patients presenting with classical sign and symptoms of Ekkushta as described in Ayurvedic literature. 2) Selection will be done irrespective of gender, occupation, socio economic status, religion 3) Both newly diagnosed and previously treated cases will be considered. 4) Individuals aged between 18 to 60 years, regardless of gender. 5) Only those patients who are medically and physically fit for undergoing Virechana Karma will be included in the study. 6) Those who are ready to sign the informed consent form and follow treatment protocol.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Patients suffering from hypertension, cardiac disorders, diabetes mellitus, or any other major systemic illness. 2) Those diagnosed with other dermatological conditions such as chronic fungal infections, tuberculosis, or systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). 3) Patients with psychiatric disorders. 4) Pregnant women and lactating women.
