Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patient having classical signs and symptoms of Shushkakshipaka 2. SchirmerI test positive i.e. less then 15 mm 3. Tear film Break up time less then 15 second 4. Eligible cases for Aschyotana and Parishek
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Age Below 18 years and above 60 years were excluded. 2. Shushkakshipaka is associated with other specific ocular diseases such as Savrana Shukla (corneal ulcer), acute conjunctivitis, chronic viral infections, and allergic condition. 3. Traumatic eye injury and Recent eye surgery. 4. Severe cases of dry eye disease with complications like perforated corneal ulcer, Uveitis, Glaucoma. 5. Patients who were contraindicated for Aschyotana and Pariseka.
