Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients posted for spine fixation surgery 2.ASA 1 and 2 patients 3.BMI less than 30

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Uncooperative patients Patients with spine fracture Cardiac and neurological diseases Uncontrolled diabetes and hypertension Known allergy to the drug used Epilepsy/history of seizure Any kind of preexisting neuropathy Alcoholism Chronic opioid use (defined as daily use of opioid for more than 3 month)

Comparison of postoperative recovery score through Quality of recovery(QoR)-15 between 2 groups.Timepoint: Postoperative first 48 hours

1.Duration of postoperative analgesia 2.Perioperative rescue analgesic requirement 3.Perioperative hemodynamics 4.Intraoperative bleeding and surgeon s satisfaction. 5.Postoperative sedation 6.Any other side effects like postoperative nausea vomiting(PONV)Timepoint: Postoperative first 48 hours
