Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adult patients undergoing elective surgeries requiring central venous cannulation will be recruited in this study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients abnormal neck anatomy that distorts the visualisation of IJV with USG and Patients with coagulation abnormalities will be excluded

To compare the first pass success rate for ultrasonographic guided out of plane IJV cannulation between the groupsTimepoint: At the time of cannulation of IJV
