Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with chronic periodontitis. 2. Pocket probing depth of equal to or more than 5 mm in alteast 1 site in two different quandrants. 3. Systemically healthy patients. 4. Patients with good oral hygiene maintenance. 5. Patient willing for treatment and ready to give consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with history of periodontal therapy in past 6 months. 2. Patients taking antibiotic therapy in past 3 months. 3. Immunocompromised patients. 4. Pregnant and lactating patients. 5. Patient with any allergic tendencies pertaining to treatment. 6. Deleterious oral habits.

MeasureTime frame
Reduction in probing pocket depth and improvement in clinical attachment level will be assessed.Timepoint: Baseline and 3 months.
