Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Participants included in the study were individuals aged between 18 and 40 years who had a clinical diagnosis of lateral epicondylitis. All subjects reported pain localized over the lateral epicondyle, which was aggravated during gripping activities. Additionally, a positive Cozen s test was required for inclusion, confirming the involvement of the extensor tendons. Only those individuals with a symptom duration of more than two weeks were considered eligible for participation in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Participants will be excluded if they present with conditions that may confound the outcomes or pose safety concerns. These include individuals diagnosed with cervical radiculopathy, rheumatoid arthritis, or any neurological disorders. Additionally, those with a recent history of upper limb fracture or surgery will not be considered for inclusion. Participants who have undergone physiotherapy treatment within the last three months will also be excluded to avoid the influence of prior interventions. Furthermore, individuals with any cardiovascular contraindications to blood flow restriction training (BFRT) will be excluded to ensure safety during the intervention.
