Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1)Diagnosed cases of Kati Sandhigata vata based on classical and clinical features. 2)Age between 20-70 years. 3) Chronicity- more than 3 months. 4) BMI less than 25 kg per metre square (non-obese). 5) Radiological evidence of lumbar spondylosis. 6)Willing to participate and provide informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1)BMI more than 25 kg per metre square (obese individuals). 2) Patients with fractures, neurological deficits, or systemic illnesses. 3)Patients on corticosteroids or other conflicting treatments. 4) Known hypersensitivity to Nirgundi or Swedana therapy. 5)Local skin infection. 6)Pregnant and Lactating women.

Change in Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) score for low back pain.Timepoint: Baseline (Day 0), after completion of treatment at Week 4, and follow-up at Week 8.
