Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. All patients undergoing surgery under general anaesthesia requiring endotracheal intubation 2. Patients giving written informed consent. 3. Either gender 4. Age 18 to 60 yrs 5. American Society of Anaesthesiologists (ASA) physical status I, II, III

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with anticipated difficult intubation. 2. Patients with oropharyngeal masses, neck masses, any neck abnormality, temporo-mandibular joint immobility or cervical joint instability. 3. Pregnant Women

1.To determine the predictive values and accuracy of two ratios of Neck Circumference to Thyromental Distance (RNTMD) and the ratio of Neck Circumference to Inter-Incisor Gap (RNCIIG) for predicting unanticipated difficult endotracheal intubation 2.To determine the correlation coefficient of two ratios of Neck Circumference to Thyromental Distance (RNTMD) and the ratio of Neck Circumference to Inter-Incisor Gap (RNCIIG), for predicting unanticipated difficult endotracheal intubationTimepoint: Time Point 1: Preoperative airway assessment (NC, TMD, IIG, NC/TMD ratio, NC/IIG ratio). Time Point 2: Intraoperative assessment during laryngoscopy (Cormack-Lehane grade).

To assess difficult intubation using IDS (intubation difficulty score) Timepoint: Time Point 3: Intubation assessment (IDS score, number of attempts, adjuncts used, time taken for intubation).
