Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: confirm the participants is currently prescribed or taking metformin 500mg regularly age beteen 30 yr to 60 yr dignosed cases of type 2 DM 2024 guidelines (FBS grater than 150mg/dl PPBS grteter than 250mg/dl or HBA1C grtere thhan 6.5) symptoms of prameha (ex-atipipasa ati-mutra med-vrudhi)mentoned in charak samhita uncontrolled BSL-the patient is alerady on metformin therapy however their blood sigar level continue to rise indicating gycemic contrl

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Type1DiabetesMellitus Patients with insulin-dependent diabetes or juvenile onset 2.heart disease, or stroke. Diabetic retinopathy, nephropathy, neuropathy, IHD. 3. Other systemic illnesses Severe liver or renal dysfunction, tuberculosis, cancer, autoimmune diseases. 4. Pregnancy/Lactation Pregnant or lactating women. 5. Current Ayurvedic treatment Patientscurrently on other Ayurvedic medicines 6. Poor compliance history History of non-adherence or poor follow-up.

To assess the efficacy of Asanchitrakadi Kwath as an adjuvant to Metformin in reducing fasting blood sugar (FBS) and postprandial blood sugar (PPBS) levels and HbA1c in patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus Timepoint: Intermediate follow up on Day 15th, 30th, 45th, 75th , 90th Final Assessment on day 90th

To evaluate changes in HbA1c levels before and after treatment. 1. To observe the improvement in clinical symptoms of Prameha as described in Ayurvedic texts. 2. To assess the safety and tolerability of Asanchitrakadi Kwath in combination with Metformin. 3. To compare the overall effectiveness of the combination therapy versus standard Metformin therapy aloneTimepoint: 15 days
