Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Those between the ages of 18 and 25 who are enrolled full time as undergraduate or graduate students. Having vision that is normal or corrected to normal (more than or equal to 20/25 Snellen chart). With no spontaneous nystagmus and a negative head-shake test (normal vestibular function is confirmed).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Students who have a medical history of vestibular disorders, such as BPPV, Menieres disease, or neuritis. History of neurological disorders (stroke, TBI, epilepsy) and Psychiatric diagnosis history (ADHD, anxiety disorders, depression). History of susceptibility to motion sickness. A history of current use of psychoactive medications and vestibular suppressant drugs (such as selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors, amphetamines, methylphenidate, modafinil, and high doses of caffeine) as well as contraindications for vestibular stimulation (such as epilepsy). Participation in additional vestibular and cognitive studies during the last three months. Professional training in gymnastics or dance (at least five years of formal training). Fields of aviation and spatial navigation. Consuming more than 14 units of alcohol per week or using drugs recreationally within the last 30 days. Students who find reading, writing, and understanding the English language challenging.
