Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients in the age group more than or equal to 7 years who have IOP more than 21 mmHg with definite optic nerve head changes on slit lamp biomicroscopy referred to the glaucoma clinic for the first time from the general clinic of Aravind Eye Hospital.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Primary glaucomas (POAG, PACG) JOAG Congenital/developmental glaucoma

To understand the ocular and systemic causes that lead to secondary glaucoma in Southern India and to understand what group of people are affected and their clinical presentation.Timepoint: 6 months and 1 year

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1. To analyse the demographic profile of the patients in relation to causes of secondary glaucoma. 2. To evaluate the association between different Etiological subtypes of secondary glaucoma & the severity of disease. 3. To assess the impact of education & socioeconomic status on the type of secondary glaucoma.Timepoint: 6 months & 1 year
