Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| The primary goal is to assess the effectiveness of ventilation by examining Peak airway pressure (Ppeak/PIP) Mean airway pressure (Pmean) Expiratory tidal volume Plateau airway pressure (P plateau) ETCO2.Timepoint: Respiratory parameters will be recorded at 10 minutes after induction of anaesthesia, After pneumoperitoneum( parameters will be measured every 5 minutes interval till the end of surgery), and after desufflation. | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| To compare the efficacy of hemodynamic response by evaluating variables such as heart rate, oxygen saturation, systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure and mean arterial pressure, in volume control vs pressure control ventilation.Timepoint: These parameters will be recorded at 10 minutes after induction of anaesthesia, After pneumoperitoneum( parameters will be measured every 5 minutes interval till the end of surgery), and after desufflation. | — |
