Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.A well-characterized, catheter-associated P. aeruginosa strain capable of biofilm formation and resistant to levofloxacin, cotrimoxazole, and minocycline. 2.A catheter-associated S. maltophilia strain capable of biofilm formation and susceptible to levofloxacin, cotrimoxazole, and minocycline. 3.ICU patients diagnosed with catheter-associated infections involving S. maltophilia with or without P. aeruginosa based on routine clinical microbiology reports from same site.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Mixed cultures with more than 2 organisms. 2.Non-catheter-associated clinical source. 3.Poor viability or contamination failed isolates.
