Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Women aged 18 to 55 years Hb levels from 8 g per dL to 12 g per dL Serum ferritin level less than 30 mcg per L

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Other types of anaemia such as hemolytic anaemia, sickle cell anaemia etc. (as determined by peripheral smear or CBC) Chronic systemic diseases (e.g., renal failure, malignancy). Pregnant and lactating women Menorrhagia or Metrorrhagia Participants with continuous or intermenstrual bleeding. History of surgery within one month prior to selection or a surgery planned during the study period. Currently receiving iron therapy or any ayurvedic medicine for improving hb levels.
