Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Adult mechanically ventilated patients with endotracheal tube. Hemodynamically stable patients requiring routine endotracheal suctioning. Consent obtained from patient attendant.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Known optic nerve pathology. Ocular trauma or orbital edema. Raised intraocular pressure. Severe hemodynamic instability. Contraindications to ultrasound examination.
