Participants had no previous history of surgical intervention at the selected site and were willing to provide written informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients who were smokers or tobacco users, pregnant or lactating females, or individuals with any systemic disease were excluded. Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| The study will help us to determine that the adjunctive use of xenogenic sticky bone graft along with coronally advanced flap results in greater mean percentage of root coverage at 6 months compared to coronally advanced flap alone in the management of Cairo RT1 and RT2 gingival recession defects.Timepoint: Baseline and 6 months | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| The study may enhance clinical decision-making by evaluating the effectiveness & long-term stability of xenogenic sticky bone graft as an adjunct to coronally advanced flap in the management of gingival recession. It may promote minimally invasive & biologically improved treatment approaches by reducing the need for secondary donor site procedures. Ultimately, the findings may improve esthetic outcomes, periodontal stability, & overall patient quality of life, thereby benefiting both the clinical field & society.
