Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients of age between 18-40 yrs old. 2.Diagnosed patients of Asrigdara having symptoms of excessive PV bleeding. 3.Patients having bleeding more than 7 days upto 14 days. 4.Patients having regular menstrual cycles. 5.Patients with hemoglobin levels greater than 8 gm/dl. 6.Patients mainly complaining of cardinal symptoms of Asrigdara- Atirajstrav, Atyadhik Rajakal, Angamarda, Adhodarshoola during menses.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients with any pelvic pathology like uterine fibroid,adnomyosis. 2.Anatomical irregularities of the reproductive organs (septate uterus, retroverted uterus). 3.Any other systemic health conditions like thyroid disorders, or diabetes mellitus which can affect menstrual patterns. 4.Patients with an intrauterine contraceptive device IUCD

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Kamdudha Ras 250mg tablets with Goghrita thrice a day before meal starting from first day of menses upto 2 consecutive cycles/60 days will be effective in the management of AsrigdaraTimepoint: 60 days

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Kamdudha Ras will be more effective than Gokshuradi Guggulu in the management of AsrigdaraTimepoint: 60 days
