Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients undergoing surgery under general anaesthesia 2. Patients willing to give consent 3. Age 18-60 yr of either sex 4. BMI less than 30 kg/m 5. ASA 1 & 2

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patient with a history of sore throat or upper respiratory tract infection 2. Hemodynamically unstable patients 3. Pregnant women 4. Patients with a history of cardio-pulmonary disease, liver, or renal disorders and any chronic disease and history of drug allergy 5. Patients with anticipated and unanticipated difficult airway

MeasureTime frame
To observe and compare the PI changes from baseline PI at different time intervals post intubation, start and end of Neuromuscular block, pre extubation and post extubation. Timepoint: To observe and compare the PI changes from baseline PI at different time intervals (1,2,3,4,5,10 min post intubation, start and end of Neuromuscular block, pre extubation and post extubation at 1,2,3,4,5 min).

To assess & compare changes in the Rate pressure product at different time intervals from baseline rate pressure product Timepoint: To correlate hemodynamic parameter & Rate pressure product with perfusion index at 1,2,3,4,5, 10min
