Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patient fulfilling the following general diagnostic criteria were selected for the present study: 1). Patient of both sex in the age group of 25 to 65 years. 2). Both obese and non-obese patients. 3). Criteria for diagnosis of diabetes mellitus by American Diabetes Association: A) Fasting blood sugar level is more than 120mg/dl upto 250mg/dl. B) Postprandial blood sugar level is more than 180mg/dl upto 350mg/dl. C) HbA1c- 5.7 percent to 7.5 percent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients having other complications of diabetes like DKA, marked HTN, Urinary tract infections will be excluded. 2. Patients less than 25 years and more than 65 years. 3. Patients having insulin dependent diabetes mellitus and receiving insulin. 4. Excessive blood glucose levels, fasting more than 250mg/dl and postprandial more than 350mg/dl. 5. Emergency cases in diabetes mellitus. 6. Garbhini and Sutika.
