Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Inclusion Criteria Adult patients aged 18 years and above admitted to the Intensive Care Unit. Critically ill patients admitted for more than 24 hours in ICU. Patients receiving intensive monitoring and critical care management. Patients with risk factors for delirium such as mechanical ventilation, sedation, or prolonged ICU stay. Patients or legally authorized representatives willing to provide informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients with pre-existing psychiatric illness or severe cognitive impairment. Patients diagnosed with delirium before ICU admission. Patients with severe hearing or visual impairment affecting assessment. Terminally ill patients receiving end-of-life care. Patients with alcohol or drug withdrawal delirium. Patients transferred from another ICU after prolonged ICU stay. Patients who are deeply comatose or neurologically unresponsive throughout the assessment period. Patients or relatives unwilling to provide informed consent.
