Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Adults aged more than 30 years. 2. Diagnosed cases of diabetes mellitus. 3. Patients willing to give informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Diabetes Mellitus. 2. Pregnant women. 3. Patients with hemoglobinopathies. 4. Patients with severe anemia, recent blood transfusion, or hemolytic anemia. 5. Patients with chronic liver disease or nephrotic syndrome affecting albumin levels.

Glycated albumin will show good correlation with HbA1c.Timepoint: Assessement will be within a 1 year
