Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age more than and equals to 18 years. 2. Kidney Transplant Recipients 5 year post-transplantation. 3. Serum creatinine less than 1.3 mg/dl 4. Serum 25(OH)D level less than 30 ng/ml

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Age less than 18 years 2.History of rejection in last 5 years 3. Basic kidney Disease is Diabetic Kidney Disease 4.HIV Positivity 5. Pretransplant use of immunosuppressive medications 6. Basic Kidney Disease is relapsing remitting in nature 7. Pregnancy or Breastfeeding

1. Impact of Vitamin D supplementation in immune repertoire in participants. 2. To look for whether Vitamin D supplementation will shift the balance of immune microenvironment from proinflammatory niche to more immune tolerant niche.Timepoint: At baseline we will measure Regulatory T cells & at 6 month of Vitamin D supplementation we measure the same to look for any shift in Regulatory T cell population.
