Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adults aged 30 to 75 years diagnosed with osteoarthritis based on clinical or radiological diagnosis, obese individuals as per BMI criteria used in the study population, patients willing to provide written informed consent, and patients willing to provide blood samples for CBC and hs CRP analysis were included in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Pregnant or lactating women, patients with autoimmune or inflammatory joint diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis or lupus, patients with acute infections or recent surgery, patients on long term immunosuppressive therapy, and individuals unwilling to participate or provide informed consent were excluded from the study.
