Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All consenting adult patients above 18 years of age undergoing routine elective laparoscopic cholecystectomy for symptomatic gallbladder diseases will be included in the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Non-consenting patients, patients below 18 years of age, patients with previous open upper abdominal surgeries, patients with acute cholecystitis, suspected or proven gallbladder cancer patients, patients with bleeding diatheses and patients with known allergy to ICG will be excluded from the study

i.To identify cystic duct, common hepatic duct, common bile duct and accessory duct during laparoscopic cholecystectomy after injecting indocyanine green (ICG) intravenous or intragallbladder and ii.To compare the rate of identification of cystic duct, common hepatic duct, common bile duct and accessory ducts during laparoscopic cholecystectomy by intravenous against intragallbladder route of administration of ICGTimepoint: at baseline and 4 weeks

To collect data on i. baseline demographic profile of patients like age, gender, comorbidities, indication for surgery, ultrasonographic findings including presence or absence of impacted stone, total & direct serum bilirubin; ii. intraoperative outcomes like blood loss, time taken to dissect Calot s triangle, usage of haemostatic agents, bile spillage, stone spillage, performing antegrade cholecystectomy, performing partial cholecystectomy; iii. postoperative outcome measures like operative time, haemorrhage, bile duct injury, bile leak, etcTimepoint: baseline & at 4 weeks
