Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patient of either sex presenting with at least one symptom of Myofascial Pain Syndrome (upper trapezius) as mentioned in diagnostic criteria. 2. Presence of at least one upper Trapezius myofascial trigger points 3. Patient who wish to sign the written consent to participate in the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Cervical disc herniation or radiculopathy 2.Fibromyalgia or systemic illness 3.Recent trauma/surgery 4.Pregnant/lactating women 5.Patients having any history of malignancy, tuberculosis, HIV etc.
