Intervention1: Structured Yoga Program (along with standard care): Participants in this arm will receive standard care counseling alongside a structured 6-month yoga and meditation programme delivered

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: normoglycemic individuals with insulin resistance indicated by HOMA2 IR score more than or equal to 1.22 who are able to do mild to moderate yoga postures

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: diabetes and prediabetes individuals based on HbA1c which is more than or equal to 5.7, those who do regularly practice yoga more than or equal to 2 times per week, engaged in moderate or severe physical activity which is more than or equal to 150 minutes per week, known CKD, CAD, stroke, major surgery, muscle disorders
