Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients aged 18 to 50years. 2. Indicated for surgical removal of a single, mesioangular or vertical impacted mandibular third molar 3. Systemically healthy (ASA I). 4. Willing to provide informed consent 5. Impacted teeth 1A, 1B, 2A, 2B according to pell and gregory classification

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Known Allergy to tramadol 2. Use of analgesics or corticosteroids within 48 hours prior to surgery 3. Pregnant or lactating women 4. Smokers or alcohol abusers
